I’ve always liked bacon, and I’ve always loved chocolate, but it never really crossed my mind to combine the two. Well, someone thought of it, and the result is pretty darn incredible.
Now, people say that bacon goes great with anything, but I’m not so sure about that…bacon cake? (OK. I started this last sentence thinking I’d be able to think of plenty of things bacon wouldn’t go with, but that proved to be really, really hard. And, bacon cake probably tastes phenomenal.) Anyway, this Vosges bacon candy bar is the perfect combination of salty and sweet, with that rich bacon flavor.
I picked up a small bar at Whole Foods, which set me back about $3. The larger size bar runs at about $7. You can also visit their Web site where they have a variety of bacon candies for you to choose from.
