a staple in my fridge- Redbridge gluten free beer

Even those of us who avoid gluten can’t survive on wine and hard alcohol alone. Every now and then we deserve a beer too :)

One of the easiest to find is Anheuser Busch’s Redbridge. A lager, it is close to a Newcastle or Peroni (so say my gluten-drinking friends). You can find it at Whole Foods and BevMo. The Ralph’s in Downtown L.A. even stocks it for me in the back – though I think they’d be surprised at how well it would sell on the shelves.

They also serve this at ESPN Zone restaurants.

I bought a six pack of this last weekend, and would say it is a cross between bud light and anchor steam. Overall, pretty good for a beer missing a staple ingredient! I served it to my father in law, who makes beer, and he said it was decent. I’m a bad judge as I haven’t had a real beer in years! Good thing I prefer wine.
